Huguenot Marlands

Hello Cathy and anyone else interested.

I was in Dublin last week and walked past a Huguenot Cemetery. On the memorial plaque was a list of names of those buried there including Marlande.
Does anybody know whether there is a connection? Maybe the original Marlands of Rochdale were Norman and left behind French relatives. Hence Maurice Marland the resistance hero.
