My name is John Garforth and am the Grandson of Sarah Jane Marland who is the sister (my great aunt) of Lydia Hoare (nee Marland) who wrote the book about a mossley childhood.

I am keen to hear what family connections are out there having looked at the website. Is there an USA connection to the family.

My Gran and Auntie Lydia are both still living (although not in good health) and I would love to update them on any ancestry issues.
