It is my sad duty to announce the death of my dear Gran, Sarah Jane Faulker (nee Marland) known as Jennie who died on Tuesday 23rd September 2008 in hospital aged 92.
Jennie was born on 31.10.1915 in Mossley and is the sister of Lydia Hoare (nee Marland) who wrote the Mossley childhood book with the late Michael Marland.
With a long line of relatives in Mossley Jennie was very proud of her heritage and talked foundly of many memories of her hoem town.
Let her rest in peace
